Rotary clubs help with Vermont dairy recovery and food assistance

The 2020 Rotary Dairy Project is a partnership between Rotary International Districts 7850 and 7870 in support of the New England Dairy industry and providing fresh dairy products to New Hampshire and Vermont Foodbanks for distribution to those in need. During Phase one we raised $10,000 resulting in the diversion of 32,000 gallons of excess milk into yogurt and butter for the Vermont Foodbank. This project truly demonstrated Rotarians in Action!

In phase II, we are working to divert more excess milk in Vermont and New Hampshire into yogurt, butter, AND cheddar cheese for both the New Hampshire Foodbank and Vermont Foodbank. Any donation of any size is welcome as we work towards raising $60,000 by mid-August 2020! So far, District 7850 has pledged $5,000 towards this project!

Currently we are taking pledges to verify that we can raise this amount.  Please click on the link below to tell us the amount you are willing to pledge.  All amounts are welcome - none are to small to support Dairy Farmers and food shelves.
