Grants & Donations

Goal: Develop a long-term vision of target areas to benefit our local communities, and to support global causes of Rotary International with our club’s charitable giving. Ensure timely and effective evaluation and execution of the club’s charitable donations in conjunction with the club’s board. Mission: Enrich the individuals of the community through donations given to nonprofits and town entities projects and/or events identified Responsibilities: Ensure grants and distributions are spread among a diverse array of community needs identified by the club. Actively seek charities that need our support, and embrace our values. Evaluate unsolicited grant / donation requests that come to the club and make recommendations to the board. Recommend future budgeted donation levels with rationale for next year’s Board budget.
