This open-mic storytelling event promises to be fun and inspiring for storytellers and audience members alike. Participants prepare a five-minute true story about themselves around the theme of the snow storm: Have you even been caught by surprise in a storm? Ever been enchanted by swirling flakes and how the world seems to stop? Have you had to survive a bitter cold and biting wind? Or been stuck luckily or unluckily somewhere because of a storm? Funny, sad, moving, life-changing – share your best tale of a Snow Storm, literal or figurative, in your life.

Celebrity judges will award prizes to our top three storytellers. Everyone will come away with a good time.

The event honors Bill Skiff, the founder of the Williston-Richmond Rotary Club, a retired longtime educator and consummate storyteller. Bill will be attending the event and will share a short personal story of his own.
