It's been a fun and busy start to the Rotary year! The Lake Monsters game on July 19 was a successful fundraiser and awareness campaign for Rotary's End Polio initiatives, as well as a great evening hanging out with fellow Rotarians and watching our home team win both games of the doubleheader.
I've been off to a busy start fluttering around District 7850 on my DG visits, which have included ten clubs and six patches of milkweed planted together, plus countless seeds for folks to plant at their homes, which should make for some happy and well-fed monarchs come next spring! I'm aiming to visit all clubs this fall and share my project, but I'd also love to join clubs for other events and projects as the year goes on, so let me know what you have planned and make sure it's on our District Calendar by clicking here so others can join as well!
Remember, there is a Club Hopping Challenge going on throughout the year, with prizes for the Rotarian who visits the most clubs, as well as clubs that visit others and those that welcome the most visitors.
