Spring is a time for renewal & growth. Our District Rotarians can take advantage of both at the District Celebration 2023! from April 28-30 at Jay Peak. With the dual themes of Youth & Storytelling, we have created a family friendly event that has engaging activities for Rotarians and family members of all ages. After a membership workshop on Friday, April 28th, join Keynote Speakers, storytellers, authors, directors & comedians Chris Earle & Shari Hollett for a Tuscan Buffet dinner, followed by a youth hosted trivia game. Saturday highlights (aside from Waterpark fun) include an Offers & Needs Market, Literacy Service Project, Storytelling Workshop, the final round of our Youth Speech Contest & our youth-hosted lunch with reports on young adult achievements from around our District. That night, we’ll hear from master Storyteller & Vermont author Chris Bohjalian as our Keynote Speaker for dinner, followed by a DJ dance party. Le printemps est une période de renouveau et de croissance. Nos Rotariens de notre district peuvent profiter des deux lors de la célébration du district 2023! du 28 au 30 avril à Jay Peak. Avec le double thème de La Jeunesse et de La Narration , nous avons créé un événement familial , qui propose des activités engageantes pour les Rotariens et les membres de leur famille de tout les âges . Après un atelier avec les membres , le vendredi 28 avril, rejoignez les conférenciers d’honneur, les conteurs, les auteurs, les réalisateurs et les comédiens Chris Earle et Shari Hollett pour un dîner buffet toscan, suivi d’un jeu-questionnaire , organisé par d
es jeunes. Les faits saillants du samedi (en plus du plaisir du parc aquatique) , comprennent un marché d’offres et de besoins, un projet de service d’alphabétisation, un atelier de narration, la ronde finale de notre concours de discours des jeunes et notre déjeuner organisé par les jeunes , avec des rapports sur les réalisations des jeunes adultes de notre district. Ce soir-là, nous entendrons le maître conteur et auteur du Vermont Chris Bohjalian en tant que conférencier d’honneur pour le dîner, suivi d’une soirée de danse DJ. Our Club Presidents are finishing up the last quarter of their term. We thank them for the support & passion they have provided to their Clubs! We hope that it has been a successful Rotary year, built on a frank review of the strengths and challenges of our clubs (coming out of the pandemic), and the desire for many in our communities to reconnect with a common purpose of improving the lives of others. Club Presidents-Elect are now beginning to formulate their goals for the 2023-24 Rotary year. Our new leaders can obtain important training & support through the My Rotary Learning Center, available at My Rotary | My Rotary. So can Club members. Explore a new role in your Club this year by scrolling through the Learning Center courses for quick & effective training on membership, public image, Foundation, and so much more! Learning is growing – commit to your growth as a Rotarian this Spring!
Nos présidents de club terminent le dernier trimestre de leur mandat. Nous les remercions pour le soutien et la passion qu’ils ont apportés à leurs clubs! Nous espérons que ce fut une année Rotary réussie, fondée sur un examen franc, des forces et des défis de nos clubs (sortant de la pandémie), et le désir pour beaucoup , dans nos communautés de renouer avec un objectif commun d’améliorer la vie des autres. District 7850 Rotary Friendship Exchange is planning a 7-day trip to Istanbul, Turkey in May 2024, followed by planned optional excursions to historical sights in Turkey, like Ephesus, Troy, and Cappadocia. You can see a typical Turkey itinerary at Rotary Friendship Exchanges | Rotary District 7850 (rotary7850.org) Rotary District 2420 in Turkey is spread over two continents and includes Istanbul, whose history dates back to 2500 BC.
