Building a Solid Foundation for Training
District Virtual Spring Training
Have you been asked to lead a committee next year or, as an existing committee chair, would you like expand your knowledge and add to your leadership skills? Will you be entering the office of President, Secretary, or Treasurer, or continuing in service and are looking to up your game? Are you wanting to know more about how you can serve your club and what is involved in taking on these various leadership roles? If your answer to any of the above is Yes, Maybe, or even Not Sure, and you missed our District Virtual Spring Training, there are still ways you can gat access to the learning!
The RI Learning Center contains a wealth of material related to each area of interest. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee
While there is material on DEI in the Learning Center, it is not directly related to how to actually start a DEI Committee in your club. We invited representatives from our neighboring District 7950 who are in the process of doing this to discuss what has worked for them. The video below shares their experiences and gives direction you can consider as you begin the first steps towards Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in your club.

Virtual District Grants Trainings
We have two more District/Global Grant training opportunities coming up. The first will be on January 22nd and the second will be on March 19th, both on Saturdays beginning at 8:30 am. Remember, for your club to be eligible to submit a grant by April 29, 2022, someone must have completed a training opportunity.
Registration is available on the District Website at https://www.rotary7850.org/sitepage/rotary-foundation-grants
