Highlights: Each year millions of visitors from around the world come to Calgary to partake in the annual event, the Calgary Stampede. The city of Calgary is transformed for ten days into town celebrating the cowboy culture. Visitors will enjoy the atmosphere and friendly attitude of the locals, at Canada’s largest tourist event. The famous Rodeo portion of the Calgary Stampede takes place daily at 1:30 pm. This tournament-style rodeo focuses on six major events: Bareback, Bull Riding, Barrel Racing, Saddle Bronc, Steer Wrestling and Tie-Down Roping. Nightly is the world famous Chuckwagon event, featuring 36 drivers and 216 horses competing for over $1.15 million in prize money.
We also visited the Lethbridge and Red Deer areas and saw Waterton in the Glacier-Waterton USA/Canada Peace Park and took a side trip to the Banff , Lake Louise, and Jasper National Parks.

Highlights: Visitors will see the best of New England’s Fall Foliage with spectacular views in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and Green Mountains of Vermont. The famous Cog Railway trip up Mt Washington and a boat trip on Lake Champlain in Burlington, Vermont are planned.
