Outbound Program: February 3-17, 2020
Team Leaders: Kathy Jablonski & Dick Bielefield

Highlights: A unique trip is being planned to one of the world's most popular travel destinations, which includes both District 9940 in the Southern part of the North Island and District 9980 in the Southern part of the South Island.
In District 9940, Wellington, New Zealand’s capital, acts as the country's cultural, administrative, and political hub. It is the storehouse for the nation's historic, cultural and artistic treasures.
The other part of the trip will be to District 9980, which has many of New Zealand’s most popular attractions, such as Queenstown, the fiords of Milford Sound, the Franz Josef and Fox glaciers, and the 10,000 foot Southern Alps including Mt Cook. Christchurch is to the North of District 9980, but could be added on at the end the trip.
The trip will probably entail flying from Boston to Los Angeles to Auckland to Wellington to visit District 9940 on the North Island. We would then fly to Dunedin to visit District 9980, South Island. We would fly home from Queenstown, with a stop-over in Auckland before heading back home.
